Part time Practice Nurse Vacancy- CLOSED- POSITION FILLED
Hours 25.5 hours per week over 3 days. Closing date for applications by CV and covering letter , Friday 9th July 2021.
Salary negotiable dependent on experience.
Hill Barton Surgery is based on the edge of Exeter, we currently have 4300 patients. Our team consists of 3 GP partners, 2 nurses , a phlebotomist and 7 administrators/ receptionists. We are a small friendly supportive team with a strong team working ethos.
We are currently looking for a part Time nurse (preferably experienced in primary care) to join our team. Experience in chronic disease management especially Asthma and COPD is desirable, childhood immunisations , wound care , cytology and patient education. Flexibility to cover extra hours (holidays) would also be required. A full job description is available on request.
The weekly hours would be a 25.5, working Preferably Monday, Wednesday and Thursday but can be negotiated.
Salary based on experience.

Practice Receptionist- Starting August 2021-CLOSED-POSITION FILLED
16.5 hours per week working Tuesday & Wednesdays
Starting at £ ( being reviewed)
Base job requirements are:
- Previous receptionist or clerical background
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written with clear, legible handwriting
- Evidence of collaborative working within teams
- Able to cope with more than one task at a time and move between tasks as required
- Able to work unsupervised
- Decision making and problem solving skills
- Able to cope in a stressful or emergency situation
- Committed to providing patient centered care
- Able to work in a multi-disciplinary team committed to innovative practice
- Confident and highly self-motivated
- Excellent time management, organisational and prioritisation of workload skills
- Able to use own judgement, resourcefulness, common sense and local knowledge to respond to patients’ queries and requests
